Day 2

Day 2 started with a change of plan from General Lee.

Hood and McLaws would be left at one end while the rest of the Rebel army concentrated on Cemetery Hill, Culp's Hill and attacking Cemetery Ridge.

All units that sustained casualties received reinforcements overnight at a rate of half what they had lost, rounded up. Units were also repositioned slightly to reflect a "pulling back" from the line for the night.

This game was decided using a points system that we came up with to balance the game. In the end the Confederate army had done enough to gain the victory.


Big thanks to Geoff and Adrian for umpiring for two days and to the guys from Wellington and Timaru for making the effort to travel to this game.

First day of Battle.
